14th Crosby Girl Guides meets at St Michael’s Church every Thursday night during school term time.We meet in the church hall from 7.30pm until 9pm.

Guides is for girls aged 10 to 14 years giving them the opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people and have fun.Members take part in a wide range of exciting activities at their regular meetings, as well as having the opportunities to go to special Guiding events or holidays. Girls can extend their knowledge and skills by working towards Guide interest badges covering many different hobbies and activities from Film lover to crafts and cooking. They can also gain Challenge badges that recognise their participation in guiding over a period of time. The badges build towards the Baden-Powell Challenge Award, named in honour of the founder of guiding

From September 2014 to July 2015 we have increased from a small group of girls to a busy group of 24 guides. We have enjoyed playing games and activities as well as working on different interest badges such as the “Onesie badge” and “Caribbean Challenge badge”. We have enjoyed trips out to the Pantomime, swimming baths and to visit our neighbouring Guide groups. During the spring term we enjoyed a weekend holiday to Rock and River Activity centre where the girls were able to experience new activities and challenges as well as enjoying fun being away with friends. To help our community the Guides have raised money for our Guide and Brownie units by hosting a Bring and Buy sale together with donating over £100 to the Ebola Crisis.
