Welcome and Notices
God in Christ has revealed his glory. Come let us worship. From the rising of the sun to its setting the Lord’s name is greatly to be praised. Give him praise, you servants of the Lord. O praise the name of the Lord!
Confession By the mercies of God, let us confess our sins and present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to him, which is our spiritual worship. Most merciful God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we confess that we have sinned in thought, word and deed. We have not loved you with our whole heart. We have not loved our neighbours as ourselves. In your mercy forgive what we have been, help us to amend what we are, and direct what we shall be; that we may do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with you, our God. Amen. Absolution
May God who loved the world so much that he sent his Son to be our Saviour forgive us our sins and make us holy to serve him in the world, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Prayers: Read by Bev Boden MU branch Leader Dear Father, we thank you for sustaining us in difficult times when everything seems uncertain and our future unknown. We know that you love us and care about our whole life, that you alone have a plan and purpose for each of us. Open our hearts to your voice and then give us courage and a real desire to do your will we ask this in your Son’s name, Amen.
In this week of Christian Unity we remember we are members of one family Thank you for the community of which we are part for those who share with us in its activities. Thank you at this time for giving us the opportunity to make our own contribution to that community and learn to be good neighbours that by love we may serve one another. God of light and life source of all knowledge wisdom and skill we thank you for the great resources of healing that are available to those who are sick and for all those who help to bring wholeness and healing. Praying for all sections of the NHS all carers and those who care in so many ways we pray especially for all those known to us who are ill at this time. For Jesus sake, Amen.
The Mothers’ Union prayer Loving Lord, We thank you for your love so freely given to us all. We pray for families around the world.
