Welcome to our Website

Welcome to the website of St Michael's, Blundellsands!

We are a small friendly church in the heart of Blundellsands, and we would love you to be part of our worshipping community.

Our primary purpose is to worship God in this place: we have some traditional services and some informal ones on Sundays, so we hope you will find something to suit you. We also have regular Bible study and a small Choir.  Prayer is important to us: we have prayer partnerships and we pray for the residents of each road in the parish in rotation.

Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals. It always gives us pleasure to welcome families for baptisms and couples for their marriage. We aim to support those who would like the funeral or memorial service for a loved one to be held here.

We take care of our elderly members offering Home Communion for the housebound, and an "Over 60s Lunch Club".  We have disabled access and toilet facilities in the church and in the hall.

In Church we have a children's corner, and are working towards the Child friendly Church award.

We are proud of our links with St Michael's Church of England High School www.stmichaelshigh.com.  We now hold Level One of the Diocesan Church and  School Partnership Award: www.liverpool.anglican.org

Adjacent to the Church is our lovely Church Hall: this is the venue for many of our Church related Activities. These include The Guild of St Michael, Brownies Guides and Rainbows, and the Mothers' Union.

The hall is also available to hire for regular groups at competitive rates. Currently there are regular sessions of Tae Kwondo, Tai Chi, Limelight Drama, Move it or Lose it, Pilates, Crosby Symphony Orchestra and The Arts Society, Crosby

St Michael's Blundellsands takes its duty and obligation to protect all extremely seriously. We have adopted the national Church of England's robust procedures and guidelines. You can find out more about the national policies and procedures at www.churchofengland.org/safeguarding
