The Guild of St Michael, Blundellsands

St Michael’s Guild is a social group who meet in the Church Hall at 8 pm on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from October to May.

Everyone is welcome to hear our interesting talks, usually illustrated, on a wide range of subjects. Also we shall also enjoy a Christmas lunch, visits from a drama group and a choir, and outings by coach to the theatre and a National Trust property.

Our 2015-16 season starts on October 6th with Captain Hugh Daglish who commanded HMY Britannia. Popular speaker Ken Pye follows on October 20th with ‘The Joy of Scousers and Scouse’. On November 3rd an acclaimed dramatic performance ‘Cork Jackets and Drill’with narration, pictures, music and song will tell the story of the 1886 Southport lifeboat disaster. Visitors and friends are especially welcome to this production.
